All of our products are handmade authentic African art and crafts, using traditional African skills. Most pieces are made by self-help or self-employment groups in Africa thus enabling them to provide themselves and their families with an income. We believe we can contribute to improving the economic situation of African communities by providing a marketplace for sharing authentic African art and crafts with the world.

The African spirit has driven people to overcome war, inequality, sickness, poverty and hunger. This same spirit is reflected in the artwork, jewellery and crafts of all kinds created by the local African artists and crafts people who create works of beauty that will bring the African spirit into the hearts and minds of those who appreciate it.
