Why South Africa?/Why Bali?

These rural schools are on the outskirts of the rural cities. Although remote they provide safe and secure lodgings with amazing wildlife and conservation educational experiences.

 These schools truly value any assistance.

 

How long?

We recommend between 12-14 days allowing students the opportunity to settle in and immerse themselves in the rich fabric of the experience.

 

What time of the year?

All times of the year provide excellent opportunities.

 

Visas

This varies from country to country we will organize these with you if necessary.

 

Age groups

Due to the nature of our programs we offer two main types. Differences are due to age groups.

Grade 6,7 and 8

Grade 9,10.,11

Gap placements are also available to students undertaking Grade 12 or 13.

 

Safety

Participants are housed inside private Game Reserves and lodgings and there are fences within to keep animals out! Staff provide the up most duty of care at all times.

 

Food

All dietary requirements are accommodated.

 

Communication

Staff are able to be contacted 24 hrs a day by cell phone and landlines. There are satellite phones for emergency .

 

First Aid

All staff are trained in first aid, Doctors are on call in 30 min. and Emergency helicopters can be flown in if necessary.

The Company is run by Peter Evans and his Professional team. He has taught and worked in International schools around the world, held acting coordinator positions and currently is employed part time by the South Australian Education Department at Open Access College working with their distant education program.
